Biohealth Sciencedeals with the scientific basis ofhealth and disease in humans and iscurrently one of the most rapidlydeveloping areas in biological sciences. The B.Sc. (Biohealth Science) has beendeveloped for very able students withstrong interest and inclination towardshealth-related disciplines.

Studentshave the opportunity to studyfundamental biology in addition to awide variety of biohealth subjects suchas physiology, genetics, microbiology, immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry, neurobiology, histology, health care andDNA recombinant technology.Entry into the programme is competitive. The programme receives hundreds ofapplications each year, but accepts onlya limited number of students yearly.Selection is based on availability ofplaces and academic merit. This programme is a major in BiohealthScience. It is acourse which has equipped me withknowledge as well as practicalexperience in the forever-enchantingfield of biology and life. Exposure tohistology, physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry, microbiology and geneticsmakes Biohealth Science one of the mostchallenging courses.”
